I am a visual artist who uses a passion for all forms of creativity to feed the mind, body and soul. I subscribe to the idea of learning a lot of different art disciplines, as a opposed to being an expert in one particular skill. As I look back on my creative inspirations, I see that I was influenced by my environment, current events, the things in life that are beautifully quirky, and my personal experiences. When I moved from my child hood home on Long Island NY to Baltimore MD, there was a shift in how I approached creating art and my philosophy. This started when I began working for the American Visionary Art Museum. The stories of the artist that had their work exhibited here along with the materials they used allowed my mind to be even more open about how I make art and inspired me to tell my own story.
